Popis: | In this paper we studied the clinical course of chickenpox. The follow ing features of the disease were identified: high incidence of varicella among young adults (median age is 24.5 years), primarily for military personnel; in most cases, chickenpox has maintained its «traditional» clinical signs, but in some cases there was additional scarlatiniform rash that required to revise causal treatment in terms of additional antibiotics. Analysis of therapy revealed a number of mistakes, namely the appointment of acyclovir to children from 2 to 12 years with mild forms of the disease, antibiotics for uncomplicated cases and typical use of corticosteroids in young adults. |
