Popis: | A surface-plasmon-resonance sensor was applied in the measurement of the effective refractive index of highly turbid calcium carbonate pigment slurries. Information on the absorption of the pigment slurries as a function of the concentration was obtained by the sensor. It is suggested that the sensor can be used for monitoring the optical properties of slurries. |
