Popis: | Lactaminic acid (NANA) was estimated in the colostrum and the transitional and mature human milk from normal healthy women of different parity, by the diphenylamine reaction. A statistically significant rise of “NANA” was noted in the colostrum and the transitional phase as compared to the mature milk. The increased “NANA” content is explicable on the basis of an increased transport and production of globulins. |
