Popis: | Contraception for HIV-positive women is a complex issue. Although the use of condoms is recommended, complementary methods of contraception are often prescribed. Antiretroviral therapy can lead to drug interactions and modify the efficacy of hormonal contraception. Two unintended pregnancies suggest that etonogestrel implants should be used with caution in patients on efavirenz. |
