In 97 women, a comparative study of the levels of pro- (IL-4 and IL-10) and anti-inflammatory (1β, IL-6, TNFα, INFγ) cytokines in the blood serum was conducted in trimesters of physiologically occurring pregnancy. There was an increase in the level of proinflammatory cytokines (TNFα, INFγ) in early gestation compared with the data of healthy non-pregnant women, which persisted in the second half of pregnancy against the background of increased anti-inflammatory cytokines (IL-4, IL-10). In the third trimester of pregnancy, a further increase in the serum level of proinflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, TNFα, INFγ) was observed. The results of the conducted studies indicate that there are mechanisms of fetoprotection at the level of the cytokine network, the violation of which can be the cause of pregnancy pathology. |
