An X-Ray Cephalometric Analysis of Premaxillary Growth in Operated and Unoperated Baboons (Papio cynocephalus)

Popis:	Rates of growth of the premaxilla in baboons, which have undergone removal of the nasal septum, and unoperated controls are compared using X-ray cephalometric analysis and direct measures. It is found that our X-ray analysis without the use of metallic implants is not sensitive enough to detect changes of growth rate which are detectable through direct measurement.
