| Popis: | The article considers the purpose of ship's lifeboats and the basic requirements for them of the International Classification Societies and Conventions. The features of the design and operation of acid batteries of the classical type and maintenance-free batteries introduced into operation are described. Recommendations are given for the charging of maintenance-free batteries and the use of lifeboat chargers. |
