Popis: | Twenty-three female and 19 male patients were studied. Their ages ranged from 15 to 72 years. The total length of history of psoriasis ranged from 3 weeks to 50 years, and the duration of the most recent episode from 1 week to 20 years. All patients had been admitted to hospital for treatment and were studied consecutively, apart from a few who declined the investigation. None of the patients had a history of diarrhoea or bulky stools. The extent of the rash was assessed visually on admission. |
