Popis: | Genus Coelinius Nees, 1818 The taxonomic history of the genus can be found in Wharton (1994). Type species. Stephanus parvulus Nees, 1812 Diagnosis. Mandible with at least four teeth, fourth tooth between tooth one and two, a fifth tooth present in some species between teeth two and three. Eyes bare or essentially so. Fore wing with vein r arising from or distal half of stigma or next to its middle. Metasoma with at least some degree of lateral compression in female. Body elongate. Parasitoids of Chloropidae (Diptera). Hosts. Chloropidae (Diptera).
