| Popis: | One of the rare causes of stroke in patients under 50 years of age is internal carotid artery (ICA) dissection based on trauma. Traumatic internal carotid artery dissections may be treated with anticoagulants, antiplatelets or endovascular approaches. Endovascular repair of traumatic ICA dissections has become more popular recently. Here we report the case of ICA dissection secondary to trauma treated with anticoagulants and endovascular approaches and during the follow-ups with neurovascular imaging pseudoaneurysm was presented as a developed complication. |
