Popis: Objectives. The choice of methods for the identification of the most informative indicators that characterize the functional state of the central nervous system of workers of force structures in emergency situations. Material and methods. A theoretical documentation was made, which consisted of studying the material from the specialized literature and establishing the link between the researched characteristics and professional activities. Results. The service activities of the people involved in the force structures require several qualities, such as the ability to foresee events. One of the most informative tests for studying the processes of predicting the course of events is the reaction time estimation test to a moving object. Also, the method of the critical frequency of flicker fusion is informative for diagnosing work capacity, mental and physical fatigue, for studying the functional state, for studying the properties of the nervous system, the ability to involuntarily memorize and the ability to make movements in an increased pace. Conclusions. The study of the characteristics of sensorimotor activity, considering the age characteristics and the functional mobility of the nervous processes of the subjects, is currently one of the promising areas in the research of psychophysiological parameters (professional correspondence and performance level, emotional state) and the motivational component, functions cognitive.
