Popis: | A female infant was born with bowing of the left fibula and varus deformity of the left foot. There were no cutaneous abnormalities, no family history of neurofibromatosis and no history of injury. X-rays of the leg taken on the first day of life showed broadening with curvature of the lower half of the left fibula with the convexity lateral and posterior on the two views. (Fig. 1). The contralateral leg was normal. The child was otherwise healthy and follow up X-ray examinations at 3, 6, 9, and 15 months showed persistent but diminishing curvature of the fibula, which remained broad. |
