El presente trabajo guía al lector por la senda evolutiva de las telecomunicaciones, para sumergirlo en aquel ecosistema digital que fueron construyendo paso a paso todas las invenciones y avances tecnológicos. En ese punto se entenderá como surge la más disruptiva de las creaciones tecnológicas conocida como la internet, punto de peregrinación y destino de toda la información de la humanidad, y que ha forzado el surgimiento de tecnologías emergentes que apuntan a cambiar la manera de interrelacionamos e incluso de vivir.
