Popis: | Forty cases (2–15 months of age) of lymphadenitis following BCG vaccination were managed by different therapeutic regimens. Nonsuppurative lymphadenitis regressed spontaneously within a period of 3–4 months. Medical treatment with INH alone or INH+streptomycin, or erythromycin alone given in 26 cases did not alter the course. Of 14 cases with suppurative adenitis, recovery period was significantly shorter in cases treated surgically by excision of the affected lymphnode and erythromycin for 10 days (average 1.3 months, P |
