Popis:	This article is a lexicological study of the words noga (foot) and glava (head) in Jurij Dalmatin’s Bible. It also examines the two words in Jurij Japelj’s translation and the latest Slovenian translation of the Bible. This reveals a developmental line, and comparison of individual sections with Martin Luther’s and Franz Rosalino’s translations, as well as the Vulgate, demonstrates the relation of Slovenian translations to these models.
