Popis: | Experiment 3 will further investigate whether population action stereotypes interfere with action-language understanding. Evidence for this hypothesis already comes from Experiments 1 and 2, but was limited to single words (Experiment 1) and to explicit judgments of the direction of rotation described by the actions in the sentence (Experiment 2). If population action stereotypes really interfere with language comprehension, they should also interfere with natural sentence comprehension without explicit judgment of the described direction of rotation. |
