Popis: A safe which houses the radium in racks and uses steel for protection has been found to be much more economical, under to-day's conditions, than a conventional safe, using drawers and lead. In effect, a rack and steel safe working to Sievert standards has been built for considerably less cost than an orthodox safe built only to British standards, although the Sievert standards are ten times more stringent. Full details of the design are given. This type of safe has been found quite convenient in use.
