Popis: | Two anti-human IgG antibody populations from a single sheep were isolated by means of an immunoadsorbent and were found to differ with regard to their binding affinity to human IgG. Small differences between the two antibody populations could also be observed in the respective gel-electrofocusing patterns. F(abt)2 and Fab-fragmanents from these two antibody populations were isolated by the same specific immunoadsorbent. The antibody fragments showed the same binding heterogeneity as the intact antibodies. Peptide maps of tryptic digests of the Fan antibody fragments were performed. One antibody Fab fingerprint showed two peptide spots which were neither present in the other antibody population nor in the Fab-fragments of normal sheep IgG. Peptide maps of the Fd-fragments from both antibody populations also suggested some differences. |
