Popis: Benign peptic ulcer is a disease which afflicts over one-half million people and causes about 10,000 deaths each year in the United States. 1,2 It is frequently refractory to medical management and often is incompletely alleviated by surgical therapy. The lack of satisfaction in operative measures is partly reflected in the variety of procedures employed.
