Compositions of major, minor and trace elements were determined by AAS, ICP and XRF analyses. As expected major mineral phases, like quartz, mullite, magnetite and hematite are identified by X-ray diffraction and IR spectroscopy. The particle size distribution study revealed a marked observation on the fineness of the particle which provides large active surface area for mineral leaching. |
