Popis: | Three genes on the short arm of chromosome 11 (WT1, IGF2 and HRAS) were hypomethylated in Wilms' tumour tissue compared to normal kidney tissue, and one (CALCA) was hypermethylated. IGF2 and HRAS showed evidence of allele-specific methylation, which may indicate genomic imprinting of the 11p15 region in some kidney cells. |
