Popis:	1-Chlorovinyl sulfoxides 1 were prepared by Horner-Wittig reaction of the readily accessible [(α-chloro)sulfinylmethyl)diphenylphosphine oxides 2 with aldehydes. Excellent Z-selectivity was observed in most cases.
