One form of changing Japanese verbs that is often difficult for students to understand is the kanou no hyougen (kanou doushi) form. Presenting material in a conventional way is not optimal in increasing student competence in mastering verb conjugations, especially when taught in distance learning. Students who are less motivated to learn make this material even more difficult to understand. Therefore, there is a need for interesting and innovative learning media to help students learn. Animated video media is one of the interesting media and is considered capable of presenting material in a systematic and clear manner. This prompted the writer to research on Improving Kanou Hyougen Mastery Through Video Animation Media. This research is a pre-experimental study with a one group pretest-posttest design. From this study, it was found that the use of animation media was effective in increasing students' mastery of kanou no hyougen material, thus this media was recommended for use in this study. |
