Popis: | Enantioselective degradation of racemic epoxides is an interesting method to obtain optically pure epoxides. In this review, an overview is presented on the bioconversion of epoxides in microorganisms. Both the degradation and biosynthesis routes involving epoxides are discussed as well as their usefulness in enantioselective degradation. |
