Popis: | SummaryResults are presented that confirm an increase in oxygen uptake by porcine spermatozoa incubated in the presence of estrous oviductal fluids and indicate that increased oxygen uptake is paralleled by a proportional increase in energy production. Spermatozoa incubated in the presence of nonestrous oviductal fluid consumed more oxygen than controls; however, P/O ratios were significantly lower. |
