Indoor distance estimation by using time of arrival

Popis: Nowadays, researches about indoor positioning is very popular. Estimating location of a communication node can be used in navigation in a shopping mall or tracking in a work place, etc. In applications without a reference point, relative location of the nodes is preferred. To determine relative positions of the nodes, calculation of the distance between the nodes is required. In this paper, estimation of distances between the nodes by using time of arrival (ToA) is intended. The distance between the nodes is estimated by using time of arrival (ToA) parameter provided by the wireless communication infrastructure, Wi-Fi.
