Popis: | The text aims to present a history of psychology in Brazil related to the plots of the historical periods experienced by the country, trying to point out how the psychological knowlegde was taught and disseminated. In this sense, chooses a local history, or native history to, as Certeau points out, recognize the particularity of the place where it comes from, and the point of view - social or geographical - under which the researcher speaks. The text has therefore an essayistic character and is a subproduct of readings and research about the history of psychology in Brazil. Part of colonial Brazil and the jesuit teaching, developed in seminaries and colleges and spread primarily through preaching, explores the theses of medicine courses in the nineteenth century, which are at the same time product of education and dissemination of the psychological knowledge among us; it is also presented in Psychology books directed to Normal Schools and points out the importance of the Education's Library disclosure of Psychology in the 30s. Finally, it discusses the early work that is focused on the teaching of psychology in the newly created courses in the years 1950 to 1970 and on the ways of spreading the new field of knowledge at a time when the institutionalization of the field was already driven. |
