Popis: | Culex coronator has been identified in Shelby County, TN, for the first time as an established species. This is an important discovery since the range of Cx. coronator is unknown in Tennessee and it has been found positive for West Nile virus. Larvae and an adult were discovered during routine surveillance. Larvae were collected at 9 different locations, while the 1 adult captured was at the 10th isolated location. |
