Popis: Intense polychromatic lights are mainly used in medicine for vascular lesions, hyperpigmentation, and hair removal. They are broadband flashlamps that emit polychromatic incoherent light ranging from visible to infrared. Cutoff optical filters are used to select light bands for specific indications. Differently from lasers that have single wavelengths, intense polychromatic lights can reach multiple chromophores such as melanin, hemoglobin, water, and collagen within the same exposure.
