Popis: | A 66-year-old man appeared with a local recurrence of RCC 9 months after nephrectomy (clear cell carcinoma > sarcomatoid carcinoma, G2 > 3, pT3a). A tempraly elevation of serum C-reactive protein (CRP) appeared on administration of sorafenib and decrease of vascularity of the tumor was found on CT. After 13 months of sorafenib administration the recurrent tumor disappeared completely and serum CRP was normalized concomitantly. He currently remains in complete remission for 37 months. |
