Popis: | Delayed presentation of a laryngeal foreign body in an adult is unusual. Symptoms of minimal hoarseness with no signs of odynophagia, infection or difficulty in swallowing in a fit young patient endow no clues to suspect a swallowed denture in a busy emergency department and can be easily missed by a junior medical staff. In this report, we present a case of a broken partial denture plate stuck in the supraglottic region of an adult male patient diagnosed after 10 days despite initial presentation to the emergency department. |
