Popis: A new genus and two new species of ant-resembling castianeirine spiders are described from the Neotropics. Grismadoxgen. nov. comprises four species: Grismadox bauerisp. nov., and Grismadox mazaxoides (Perger & Duperré, 2021) comb. nov. from Bolivia, and Grismadox karuguasp. nov. (type species) and Grismadox mboitui (Pett, 2021) comb. nov. from Paraguay. All species are diagnosed and the new species are described and illustrated. Available ecological data suggests that all four species are primarily epigeal and inhabit Grassland and savannah type habitats.
