Popis: | 1H NMR measurements of oxytocin and lysine vasopressin in H20 solution indicate that they have similar conformations. There is no evidence for intramolecular hydrogen bonding, nor for the Pro-Leu(Lys)-GlyNH2 fragment being folded over the ring. Some details of the conformation of oxytocin, vasopressin and their reduced forms are discussed in this article. |
