Popis: | A ratio between α and β human plasma lipoproteins separated electrophoretically was introduced as an index of the lipoprotein pattern in normal and patliological conditions. The statistical analysis demonstrates that this ratio is significantly correlated to human plasma content in β-lipoproteins, in cholesterol and triglycerides. This ratio is a very useful screening test in clinical and epidemiological research concerning atherosclerosis. |
