Popis: | Effects of x-ray exposure geometry on CaF2 and LiF thermoluminescent dosimeters have been characterized at a variety of x-ray beam energies. Results indicate limited usefulness of CaF2 chips for determination of patient dose from dental radiographic procedures. The response of CaF2 chips is dependent upon the angle of incidence of the dental x-ray beam and upon its energy. |
