| Popis: | Sesquiterpenes and their derivatives were prepared for the bioassay of sex stimulant activity on the males of the American cockroach. Among these compounds, germacrene D 1,2-epoxide (XI), l,5-dimethylene-2-acetoxy-8-isopropylcyclodec-6-ene (XIV) and shyobunone (XV) were found to be weak stimulants only for the males of the American cockroach. |
