Popis: | The methods of monitoring cellular processes are either snap-shots or based on in vitro measurements. Nanomaterials have specific advantages to be excellent probes to monitor in vivo processes. In this study we have demonstrated that attachment of neurotransmitter, serotonin to iron oxide nanoparticles brings about enhanced contrast in cells that express the receptor for serotonin specifically. |
