Popis: | Oxidation of five of six added tricarboxylic acid substrates by washed liver homogenates from vitamin E-deficient rabbits was 60–600% higher than controls when supplemented with ATP. Fluoride did not reduce oxidation to control levels. Replacing ATP with ADP or AMP eliminated the difference in oxygen consumption. |
