Popis: | Time-tissue concentrations of Cs137 in rats were measured for two exposure times and using two methods of sacrifice, with the intention of showing whether any important amount of chemical mobility exists in the span of time between the initiation of sacrifice and the isolation of organs. It is concluded that the differences in the specific activity ratio between the 1-min exposure and the 15-min exposure cases are due to metabolic processes that were going on before and at the time of sacrifice, and that there is little effect on these ratios by the choice of method of sacrifice. |
