Popis: Car wash stations are the stations that provide service of car wash in return for specific amount of money for laundering private vehicles, which include cars, trucks, pickups, Transport vehicles, etc. These stations do not only include washing and cleaning cars, but also offer a lot of other services to the public, including changing engine oil, filters, brakes, batteries, and repairing and replacing tires. Some other stations offer the service of Petrol filling, repairing small car crashes, having restaurants serving fast food and hot and cold beverages, having shopping centers and entertainment facilities, selling newspapers and facilitating phone calls. The researcher distributed 24 questionnaire papers to 24 car wash stations located within Aleppo city through which the environ-mental impacts of car wash stations in the city of Aleppo were studied. Through field inspection, the research showed the ways in which the owners of the stations deal with solid and liquid wastes accumulated inside their stations. The results confirmed the negative effects of car wash stations in Aleppo city on the natural environment and the contamination of air, water and soil, which should be addressed by raising car wash water to an acceptable level through which it can be recycled and re-used for the same application. They also showed means of safe disposal of solid waste through recycling and benefiting from it.
