Popis: | In this paper, Reality Capture technologies are used to reconstruct 3D models of utility excavation holes which can later be visualised in the field, allowing for a more reliable, comprehensive and perceptible documentation and viewing of utilities before excavating to potentially reduce subsurface utility damages. An Augmented Reality (AR) prototype solution was developed and demonstrated for a group of respondents, concluding that visualising reality capturing models in AR would benefit fieldwork before, during and after excavation. |
