Popis:	The results of measurements of the corrosion of 10 low-alloy irons and steels exposed to 14 soils for periods up to 13 years are given. The magnitude and progress of corrosion as determined by weight-loss and pit-depth measurements are correlated with the composition of the materials and the nature of the' environmental conditions to which the test specimens, were exposed.
