| Popis: | The administration of di-M-PGE 2 , a synthetic analog of PGE 2 , restores a serum thymic-like activity in adult thymectomized mice. This effect is completely abolished by indomethacin administration. Furthermore, indomethacin administration also abrogates the restoring action of thymosin Fraction 5 on serum thymic-like activity, and lowers the natural serum thymic-like activity present in normal mice. It is suggested that prostaglandins mediate some effects induced by thymic hormones. |
