Popis: | Primary bone tumors involving the foot or ankle may be imaged, because they are symptomatic or may be found incidentally on imaging studies investigating other causes of pain or swelling. As an uncommon location for malignant bone tumors, lesions within the foot and ankle are subject to misdiagnosis. This article reviews the most commonly encountered primary benign and malignant osseous neoplasms that affect the foot and ankle, emphasizing their characteristic radiologic and MR imaging features to aid in appropriate patient management. |
