Popis: | The authors assessed the ability of the neurophilin compound, timcodar dimesylate, to accelerate the return of epidermal nerve fiber density (ENFD) after a standardized nerve injury in a randomized double blind, placebo controlled trial. While there was no difference in the regeneration rate between the treatment and placebo arms, the baseline ENFD (p = 0.006), height (p = 0.02), and race (p = 0.03) were associated with the regeneration rate. |
