| Popis: | A metabolically deficient dwarf colony mutant of Escherichia coli was isolated from the cerebrospinal fluid of a 78-year-old woman severely ill in meningitis. The patient had several signs of immunodeficiency. She recovered after treatment with cefuroxime and ampicillin. |
