Popis: | For HVDC links, the substation is a major cost factor. 3D visualization using virtual reality has the potential to play a significant part in cost reduction. This paper outlines the problem and gives two examples: the use of visualization for planning internal drone inspection; and the application of visualization to the design of a superconducting fault-current limiter breaker. |
