| Popis: | 1. 1. A new method for obtaining fetal electrocardiograms of superior quality has been described. 2. 2. Our technic employs a dual channel radioelectrocardiograph, a low pass filter, a miniaturized microamplifier electrode assembly, and a silver oxide conductive jelly developed in this laboratory. 3. 3. Fetal electrocardiograms of diagnostic quality were obtained in 47 of 50 consecutive patients studied during active labor. 4. 4. The tracings taken with this system have a stable baseline and no somatic tremor even during an active uterine contraction. The fetal QRS complexes are shown in excellent detail, and their voltage equals or exceeds that of the maternal. |
