Popis: | Ethylene hydrogenation on non uniformly distributed Pt/γ-alumina catalyst particles in the presence of deactivation has been studied both theoretically and experimentally. The comparison with the predictions of the developed kinetic model has been extended to the reactor multiplicity region. It is found that a proper distribution of platinum within the support can significantly improve the catalyst particle performance. |
