Popis: N EUROLOGIC COMPLICATIONS of disseminated cancer are common and include emergency situations that respond well to treatment when recognized early. These complications include cerebral metastasis, leptomeningeal metastasis, spinal metastasis, embolic cerebral infarct, and metabolic encephalopathy. The following discussion emphasizes clinical signs and symptoms of these neurologic emergencies as well as nursing assessment and management.
